Valentine’s Day Floater
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so it’s only fitting that February’s Photo of the Month is extra eye-catching. This “Valentine’s Day Floater” is a condensation of the vitreous of the eye causing a “floater” in the shape of a heart. Anytime a patient experiences new floaters, flashes, or a curtain or veil in the vision this should be evaluated promptly as it can sometimes be a symptom of a more serious eye problem. Special thanks to Retina Group of Florida for this amazing photo. Happy Valentine’s Day to all our patients, staff, affiliates, friends, and family! This photo is provided by Retina Group of Florida.
