We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, and most private insurance plans. We invite you to call any of our offices to schedule an appointment and ask our staff to verify if we are participating providers on your insurance plan. For a partial list of the most common insurance plans we accept, click here.
Same day appointments are available. If you have a location or physician preference, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule and request. If your condition requires urgent attention, please call any of our offices for immediate attention.
Collectively, our physicians at the Retinal Consultants have more than 100 years of experience in treating diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. All of our surgeons are board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and have trained at the most prestigious institutions in the nation. Learn more about this great group of doctors.
We have physicians and staff who speak more than one language and are comfortable treating patients who speak Spanish, Hmong, and Russian. Translation services are available for other languages as needed.
At your new patient appointment, we will ask about your general and eye health, test your vision, and measure the pressure in your eyes. Our team will also dilate your pupils for your retinal exam with one of our specialists. Depending on your eye condition, additional testing may be required. We look forward to serving you at your appointment.
Please bring a Photo ID and Insurance Card(s) to your appointment, along with a list of all health conditions, allergies, medications, and supplements.
